ORGANIZATION


 

From the very beginning the Company has grown around four main offices, around which to develop its business:

A trade department and a task force made of agents and auxiliary staff working all over the Italian territory and in charge of managing relations with our Customers. There followed the drawing up of new contracts with the retail and distribution industry, as well as the organised distribution sector, modern and retail distribution; then the planning of advertising activities; the drawing up of partnership and/or joint venture agreements with companies working in the dairy sector;

A scientific department, in charge of developing and coordinating dissemination activities focused on medical and scientific issues, as well as the valorization of goat's products. This department is also in charge of planning studies focused on the food sector in collaboration with public and private research institutes. It also organises conferences and provides specialized nutritional advice for consumers thanks to its Italian toll-free number;

A marketing & PR department, in charge of developing relations with the mass media and the press; it works at promoting and advertising products and the image of the company by participating in Food Trade Fairs both in Italy and abroad. It also works at studies aimed at product innovation (image and packaging restyling, new graphical solutions) as well as the organisation and management of advertising campaigns. This department is also in charge of the company's newsletter and articles and studies on the goat world.

It is the mix of science & marketing which increases the added value of AMALATTEA products, such a high value is acknowledged at the Italian level and – all along its trade structure – this is what contributed to the leading position of Amalattea in the dairy market of goat products, as well as to its being a point of reference for other companies that are just now tentatively coming forward in this new sector.

Logistics, this is a strong point in the organisation and management of the handling of goods; this department is in charge of optimizing the cost-effectiveness of the company in terms of service efficiency(reduction of shipping time, increase of transferred goods).

The Export department is in charge of acquiring new foreign market shares, in addition to those that the Company already has (USA, Canada; in Europe: Austria, England, Greece, Slovakia and Croatia) and wants to promote trade business activities, which is achieved by drawing up partnership and/or joint venture agreements with foreign companies belonging to the dairy sector. It also encourages participation in the most important trade fairs of the sector, SIAL, ANUGA, IFE, FANCY FOOD. Thus the AMALATTEA brand will be become more and more often a synonym of quality goat's milk.
