Milk is the main ingredient in the diet of Italian people, since it contains all the essential nutrients needed for a healthy development of the body. Milk ought to be the main ingredient of a healthy diet since we are very young and it means taking care of oneself and one's own future as for good health, and a healthy and long life. Goat milk is a very good alternative to cow's milk and “milk-alike” drinks (such as soy, rice or almond drinks), it meets the nutritional needs of people according to their age, lifestyle, sport activities and health conditions. Moreover, it is good, tasty and rich in aromatic flavours so that those who really like new tastes are encouraged to drink it. Amalattea is working hard to disseminate the nutritional properties of goat milk and its by-products, since those who would like to discover the goat world are faced with scepticism, cautiousness and limited knowledge on the part of the relevant Authorities, people working in the distribution sector and GPs who are asked for advice. Those who need to drink and eat goat products, are very aware of the need of more “advertising campaigns” for goat products. We, in our small way, are working to give people clear and transparent information, aimed at anyone wishing to deepen their knowledge of goat milk and its world. We want to keep working like this, however we cannot disregard the precious help given by our educational system. Elementary, High School and University teachers, as well as people working in the catering sector play a very important role and can really help us to teach children and young adults, and their parents, a correct food education. That is why, we are available to organise seminars on goat milk – upon request by filling in our form – which will be held by our experts in schools or for people working in the catering sector. For our seminars to be interesting to you, we ask you to comment on or tell us your experiences with the goat world.
