IF YOU DON'T WANT A VEGETAL DRINK

YOU DON'T WANT TO DRINK VEGETABLE DRINKS (soy, rice)?

6 GOOD REASONS TO CHOOSE GOAT'S MILK

 1) HIGHLY TASTY

Goat milk tastes a lot like breast milk, therefore children drink it without difficulty. Moreover, goat milk naturally tastes almost sweet. Vegetable drinks are artificially sweetened by using sugar and flavours to hide the legumes' bad taste instead. The taste of hydrolysed proteinic drinks derived from cow's milk is also very different from breast milk's taste.

2) HIGH CALCIUM AND PHOSPHOROUS CONTENT

Mammals' milk is an essential source of calcium and phosphorous, two minerals contributing to bone growth and limiting brittle bone disease (osteoporosis) that is due to ageing. Calcium in vegetable drinks can be found in traces only, and must be inevitably added to the drink.

3) NO GMOs

Since agricultural fields destined to the farming of transgenic soy are always expanding, it is now very difficult to reassure consumers that GMOs (genetically modified organisms) have not been used in soy-based drinks that are also drunk by very young children. People often become allergic to soy drinks.

4) PROTEINS WITH HIGH BIOLOGICAL VALUE

Milk's proteins contain “essential” amino acids i.e. vital amino acids which cannot be produced by our body, therefore they must be ingested through meals and come from animal products. Soy- or rice-based drinks are 100% vegetable drinks, therefore they contain proteins with low biological value.

5) NATURALLY RICH IN VITAMIN A, SELENIUM AND TAURINE

These components are often added to children's food and sport drinks since they play a very important physiological role, however vitamin A, selenium and taurine are natural ingredients of goat milk and their concentration levels are very much the same – or they are even higher – than breast milk's.

6) LOWER COSTS

One litre of goat milk costs much less than one litre of hydrolysed milk or vegetable drinks, such as rice and soy drinks.
